Nelson Mandela's Fist
Nelson Mandela -- Viva...
Description:
The South African flag and reference to "Viva
Madiba", a song written about Nelson Mandela, whose image is in the
background on the front wall of the South African Embassy in Washington, D.C.
("Madiba" is also a popular nickname for the man). This photograph
was taken a few days following Mandela's death on December 5, 2013. On the flag
beneath "Viva Madiba" is written "You are truly free now. May
you rest in peace -- OUR HERO."

INFORMATION FROM CORA'S WEB PAGE
Thank you for coming to see my photographs, which are in the
galleries on this page. My largest collection of photographs is of famous
paintings and because of the high volume of these images there are two
galleries for this work: 'Paintings A - L' and 'Paintings M - Z' (I have split
the photographs into two galleries because too many images in one gallery slows
down the speed of opening and moving around in that gallery). The second
largest gallery is 'The Washington, D.C. Area' because this is where I have
lived for over thirty years, and it is a great city to live in and photograph.
I also have the following galleries: 'Sculptures', 'People', 'Cemeteries',
'Blooms Foliage Trees', 'A Blurred World' and 'All Other Photographs'. Again,
thank you for stopping by.
