Which reminds me.

We were in a local church hall for a jumble sale and I was carrying my youngest son. All of a sudden a lot of the woman and children started to scream as the sound of the fire alarm burst out.

The sound was deafening, then everything fell silent.

I said to my son, "did you get a shock when the fire alarm went off?"

And he replied, "no dad, but I got a shock when it went on."
