Rene Romero Schuler Info: In an art world rife with personal agendas, it’s refreshing to encounter an artist whose motives are pure. René Romero Schuler is such an artist. Her abstract expressionistic style, wedded to a pop culture flair, results in exquisite oil paintings that are rich in color, probing in psychological depth and bursting with life. Her work tackles subjects that speak to the heart of the human condition—(love, heartbreak, sorrow, ultimate triumph).  René Romero Schuler has worked professionally as an artist in the Chicago area since 1987. In addition to her career as a painter, Rene has also been director of a design company, gallery owner, and instructor at some of Chicago’s fine art venues such as The Illinois Institute of Art and Chicago City Colleges.  Rene and her art has been profiled in numerous publications, including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Social, Forest & Bluff, Sheridan Road, Hospitality Design, Pioneer Press, and the Chicago Reader. René’s work is can be found in the US at Onessimo Fine Art (Florida) and Seed Studio Gallery (Michigan).
